Wine Tasting Events in Dublin
Dubliners have lots of wine tastings and drinks events to look forward to over the next couple of months, so mark these in your diary now :-)
Wine Australia tasting at Croke Park, May 23rd. This is, for many reasons, a superb feature in the wine trade calendar. An incredible array of wines, presented by gregarious winemakers, well-planned wine trails and featured seminars and masterclasses, make this a must-attend event for anyone in the trade who wants to learn about wine. WhiskyLive at the Mansion House on May 14th. A super opportunity for a burgeoning number of whisky lovers to taste, meet the makers, attend a Masterclass, either on a half-day or full-day basis. The tasting works on a entrance fee plus sample voucher basis, with each voucher costing €1.50. For the rarest examples, you may need up to 3 vouchers. www.whiskylive.com.

Taste of Dublin returns to the Iveagh Gardens on 9-12th June. Bon Appetit, Chapter One, Cliff Townhouse, Pearl, Town Bar & Grill and many more will showcase samplers of their house specialities. Features include Taste of Malaysia and the Edward Dillon Wine Experience, and of course the vast array of food, wine and other drinks available to taste, this promises to be a super event. McGuigan Vines will host a 4 day wine tasting event from September 5th - 8th in Meeting House Square. They are well renouned for being one of Australia's most celebrated wineries and are offering people a chance to sample some of its award-winning wines at its very own City Vineyard. Situated in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, the McGuigan City Vineyard is the perfect opportunity to kick off your shoes, stroll amongst the lush 70 year-old vines and meet the winemakers.
